Lincoln Avenue Small Business Improvement Fund

The Lincoln Avenue Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) and the Devon/Western SBIF are underway and operational! The SBIF program uses Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenues to help owners of commercial and industrial properties and/or tenants to repair and remodel their facilities. The Lincoln Avenue SBIF is in effect for Lincoln Avenue from Foster to Devon. The Devon/Western SBIF impacts businesses in our district on Western, from Peterson to Foster. Program participants can receive reimbursing grants to cover up to 75% of the cost of remodeling work, with a maximum grant of $150,000.00. The grant does not have to be repaid.
