This summer the Rogers Park Business Alliance and SSA #24 Clark/Morse/Glenwood are continuing their Mile of Murals project with a new installment on Glenwood Avenue from Greenleaf to Lunt.

Coordinating this wall are local artists Dustin Harris and Lea Pinsky, who led last year’s block-long wall from Estes to Greenleaf with the Howard Area Community Center youth. For this project, about a dozen LOCAL professional artists will be selected to contribute individual sections of the wall, each about 25’ long x 7’ high. Artists will be expected to work collaboratively with their peers adjacent to them on the wall as they create their designs, to ensure fluid transitions from one artist to the next. Each artist will receive a basic package of materials including paint (Nova for acrylics, Montana for aerosol), some brushes, and paint trays; plus there will be a few step stools to share. Artists will need to supply any other materials as needed. Stipend for each artist is $1400.

To apply, please complete this application and submit by April 30. If you cannot download the application, email lea@leapinsky.com or call 773-761-8699. Leave your name, email address, and phone number and we will send you the form.
