Questions Regarding Your Tax Bill?

Commissioner Bridget Gainer to Host a Satellite Office at the 40th Ward

Tax time is upon us once again and many of you may have questions and concerns about your 2nd installment tax bill. In an effort to assist you and to help you avoid waiting in long lines at the Assessor’s office, Cook County Commissioner Bridget Gainer will set up a Satellite Office at our service office on Wednesday, July 18th from 1:00 – 5:00pm.

According to a recent Chicago Tribune article, several Cook County tax bills were sent out mistakenly omitting an exemption for seniors. This and other questions will be addressed at Wednesday’s session.

Please bring your most recent property tax bill (the “yellow form”) and Commissioner Gainer’s staff will be happy to review your property tax bill to ensure you have received all eligible exemptions.

If you are unable to stop into our office on Wednesday, please feel free to call her office at 312-603-4210 or email Info@BridgetGainer.com. Additional resources and important information are also available on www.BridgetGainer.com.
