Fans & Air Conditioners Needed!

With temperatures reaching record levels, the concern for individuals living without air conditioning, or even fans, is mounting. In an effort to assist those in need of relief, Alderman O’Connor, Alderman Osterman, the EBNA block Club (Edgewater Beach Neighbors Association) and Care For Real are teaming up to collect gently used fans and air conditioners that are in good working order.

Fans and air conditioners will be collected at the following locations through the end of July:

Alderman O’Connor
40th Ward Service Office
5850 N. Lincoln Avenue
Mon & Thurs 9:00 to 7:00; Tue, Wed & Fri 9:00 to 4:30

Alderman Osterman
48th Ward Service Office
5533 N. Broadway Avenue
Mon, Wed, Thurs Fri 9:00 to 5:00; Tues 9:00 to 7:00

Care for Real
5339 N. Sheridan Rd
Monday thru Friday 9:00 to 4:00; Saturday 9:00 to 1:00

Epworth Church
5253 N. Kenmore (south side entrance)
2:00 to 6:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays
