Our 27th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show, hosted on Sunday, February 28, 2010, proved to be a very enjoyable afternoon. Our new venue, The Holiday Inn Chicago Northshore in Skokie, did a wonderful job in providing us with a beautiful, newly remodeled banquet room and delicious food.
The fashion show segment of the afternoon was quite enjoyable with many stores and boutiques being showcased by a group of entertaining models that danced and walked the runway like true professionals.
The afternoon ended with many guests walking away proud winners of various raffle prizes such as box seat tickets to Cubs and Sox baseball games, restaurant gift certificates and over night stays at various hotels.
With 565 guests in attendance, the luncheon was truly a memorable afternoon.

This annual fundraiser is instrumental in allowing the Ward to fund such events as the annual children’s holiday party, the annual Softball tournament and other such events that bring the residents in our community together.
The fashion show is a great event that promises a relaxing afternoon filled with food, laughter and friendship and is a great opportunity to view the latest fashions from various boutiques in the Chicagoland area. The show is hosted by a private company whose models represent all age groups. With upbeat music and a bit of dancing, the models put on quite an entertaining show.
