Mayor Daley understands that many Chicago homeowners are struggling through the worst economy we have experienced since the Great Depression.
The City of Chicago Property Tax Relief Program, is aimed toward helping homeowners with increases in their 2008 property tax bills for their primary residences. Homeowners may be eligible for up to a $200 property tax relief grant based on the size of their tax bill increases and their personal incomes.
